We're back at the Rancho La Bellota

Remember Rancho La Bellota and Raoul? The final week in Baja, we were back there and had planned for the next round of painting.
We had someone in Canada (Thanks Ryan) design a drawing for us of what we would have on a side. We told him what we wanted in there and he made a cohesive design out of that.
Jolanda - Always wanted a rocking chair with view on the mountains and a glass of wine, a tree as she likes them as well. As she always was our late / afternoon driver, she gave the drawing the name: "going for the sunset".
Lex - Loves water in it's many forms, snow, ice(cream), sea(lighthouse), falls and is born on a boat on the river Lek (which is a part from the river Rhine in the Netherlands), loves history(knows to entertain even Americans with 'there' history) hence the castle. And calls his side, since he is the early bird: "going for the sunrise".
making a mockup on the computer to see where the windows, doors, and stuff would be, so the details wouldn't get lost with the design..
As I am the regular driver, I would decide what would be on the driver side, and Jolanda would decide what she would have on the passenger side, also with which color it would be. Actually, not quite, as I wasn't to pick the same color as Jolanda would choose.
I tried to do it offhand before, but didn't get to scale it properly.
About a month later I tried again, this time we stayed in the desert for a couple of days, just before we reached Ensenada. Now I used the beamer to project my painting on the side, so I could redraw the lines with a pencil in the proper place.
Back at the Rancho La Bellota, we set everything up to get painting again.
First line!
Using a (very) small brush and no use of painters tape as the hardly was any straight line in my side, I started of while Jolanda had other business to take care of.
In the evening when it was dark enough, we used the beamer again to pencil out the passenger side for Jolanda.
The tree was not to Jolanda's liking which resulted in a search on internet to find the perfect tree and use the beamer to copy it on the truck.
Next morning positioning the truck so, that I would stay in the shade, otherwise the paint would dry too fast. I went on with painting.
Jolanda in the mean time was using painters tape, as her side had a lot of straight lines, she was able to use the roller way more then I could.
With here and there helping out with the tape, Jolanda started to get painting. Big was our surprise when we learned the red paint didn't cover as well as the blue paint did. We still saw the pencil stripes through the paint. We had two options; paint twice and or erase the pencil with eraser an use the thinner pencil lines or the "cleaner" lines from erasing. Both ways were used, but at the end(3 days again!) we were about to give up, so here and there the pencil stripes have to wear off.
Running out of painters tape we started using Duct tape,... Yeah, in the full sun was not a good idea, as the glue adhered to the truck and didn't come off. That also has to wear off now. Which happened luckily.
After those 3 day's we had this result:
