We had read about Agua Verde and didn't think much about the journey there... But after 10 kilometers of asphalt and 10 kilometers of gravel, you make the turn, and THEN it's TOO late! You have to descend all the way to San Cosme.

After that, there's still 10 kilometers to Agua Verde. It starts off easy and flat, then goes over another mountain with steep and winding roads. As someone who is a bit afraid of heights, I mean I can stand on the roof of our truck... This is a completely different experience! With hugh thanks to Mariano Asselborn (@marianoasselborn on Instagram, thanks for the video) who send and made the video of us as we descended the mountain, where it's narrow and steep.

That day we attempted another 10 kilometers after coming down the mountain towards Agua Verde, but halfway through the next descent, I decided to turn back, as I was DONE with it, and returned to San Cosme where we stayed on the beach and hardly slept, knowing what awaited me the next day...
